ONE WEEK FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON RECENT ADVANCES ON RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS

RECENT ADVANCES ON RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS was held at the Department of Mechanical of HKBK College of engineering from 28^th January to 3^rd February 2020.

The FDP aimed to provide opportunities to faculty members, research scholars and post graduate students to enrich their experience in the field of renewable energy in general and research in the field of Light weight Green hybrid electric vehicle, Bio energy conversion Technologies, Zero energy building, pumped hydro energy storage and photovoltaic system connected to Grid in particular. The Programme also intends to develop the knowledge of participants in application of various solar devices such as solar panels, solar for tapping, conserving and transmitting power generated from solar energy was demonstrated. The solar tracking systems were also explained. A total of 30 participants interacted with the resource persons Prof. Dr G. S Venkatesh and       Prof. Narayanaswamy of VTU, Prof. Pavan Reddy of MSRUAS, Prof. Navaneeth Krishna of RRIT, Prof. Dr. Mrityunjayaswamy of DSU, Prof. Dr. Byregowda of GCE and Dr.Nagannagouda, Former Director, KPCL. Prof. Dr. M S Bhagyshekar, Principal HKBKCE inaugurated the programme with Prof. Mahaboob Tabriz, Head Department of Mechanical Engineering, HKBK CE on 28 Jan 2020.
